Learning a language isn't just about new words……it's about new worlds. It's tricky because each language carries cultural contexts and ways of thinking that don't always translate. As I work on mastering French and other languages, I'll share insights on how borders of all kinds (geographical, linguistic, cultural) influence our perception and relationships. I'll acknowledge my limitations and misconceptions along the way, because cultural understanding is always a work in progress, even when our intentions are good.
